As a student, she learned an important word which was reflection. She took the time to reflect on her spring semester, where she faced unexpected adversity. By taking time to reflect on her journey and prioritizing her well-being.
As a First-Gen student, she needed guidance and support. So, she created a space for students like herself who would have a safe community to share experiences and support one another.
The First Gen Survival guide was born to support students who are the first in their families to go to college and graduates who are now first-generation professionals.
