Description

Erica Ramos-Thompson is a disabled, neurodivergent, mixed-race Chicana writer, poet, and organic academic. She was born and raised in Oakland, California, and resides in the occupied homelands of the Spokane and other Interior Salish tribes. She is a co-creator at Quni Community, where she works to create sacred and liberating spaces for the Disabled, Queer, and Women of Color. As a woman-identifying person with hyphenated identities, she has always been fascinated and drawn to what Gloria Anzaldúa calls borderlands- those of us who occupy a space of in-betweenness, whether that is our physical location or the identities we hold in our bodies.
