8.17pm Burn It All by River Movement (Gold Coast, QLD)
River Movement was formed in 2017, as a band with a strong collaborative vision, intent on sharing a message of hope through a unique blend of cross genre music. Their style is a combination of rap and folk music that has evolved into a full band experience that regularly includes elements of reggae, rock and funk (just to name a few). This mixture along with River Movements trade-mark live freestyles (mid set), regularly leave audiences wondering what will happen next. Based in South East Queensland (split between the Gold Coast and Brisbane), River Movement has worked hard to build a body of work that not only expresses the unique sound and style of the band, but also the vision of the movement, culminating in several single releases across the last few years and the release of their debut album “Impending Light” in 2019. The band will be recording some new music in 2022 and they are currently planning a tour later in the year. Stay tuned for more info!

8.28pm Like A Slave by LenDante Clarino (Philippines) on vocals; Moustafah Hilal (Egypt) on Egyptian guitar and vocals, Jussi Penttinen (Jay Day - Finland) voclas and keyboard, Leonad Goutkin (Russia) on bass;
In 2000, Vehnee A. Saturno and Lyricist LenDante Clarino represented the Philippines in the Music Bridges/Expo, one of the culminating activities of the Expo in Hannover Germany. Together with more than 50 select songwriters from 35 countries that included Grammy winners and nominees, Alan Roy Scott, Lamont Dozier, Alan Rich, James Slater, the Scorpions of host Germany and many others, they were secluded in the mountain-top country town of Goslar to write and collaborate in one-week songwriting workshop.
For seven days, Saturno and Clarino ate, wrote, slept and teamed up with these famous composers of such diverse artists like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Sheena Easton, Gloria Estefan, Laura Brannigan, Patti Austin, the Pointer Sisters, Starship, the Allman Brothers, the Oak Ridge Boys, etc., but it was their own collaboration in the song “Pity On Me” that earned them the “thumbs-up” nod from their foreign peers. (We will broadcast this next week).
