James places a great deal of importance on our actions. Not our actions as a way to salvation, but in a way that our efforts will show the world we follow King Jesus. If I can be honest, I sometimes wonder if we have found it too easy to allow our choosing to follow Jesus merely to be a statement and not a way of life. How often are the followers of Jesus the ones who have bitterness and jealousy in their hearts?
