This match-up for the ages led to over 18M viewers for a game played on a Sunday afternoon. On the men's side, UConn pulled away from Purdue in the second half to repeat as NCAA Champions.
But unlike every year before, the women's final outdrew the men's game, and by a lot (4M viewers). Yet another watershed moment for women's sports.
