Fact about moving on , "It's not as simple as it sounds". The urge to holding onto a feeling doesn't go away that easily . All the time and strength and emotions invested in an individual doesn't leave the soul . It is hard . The poet here is tired and cannot put in any more efforts in any other person or any other emotion . He is not looking for anything but he also cannot let go of the past. He have built walls . It's a vicious cycle .
