The NBA trade deadline came and went at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday without any major fireworks.
Carmelo Anthony is still in New York. Blake Griffin remains in Los Angeles. Paul George is still a Pacer. Jimmy Butler is still a Bull. The Celtics still have their treasure-chest of assets.
While there wasn't the huge blockbuster trade people were waiting on, there were deals made. A lot of them were minor, but could play an important role down the road due to cap space.
