"Christmastide" celebrates the time between Christmas and the arrival of the magi from the East (Matthew 2), celebrated on 06 January. These are the "twelve days of Christmas" from the famous song. Traditionally, churches did not celebrate Christ's first advent until Christmas Day. Instead, churches used the month of December to celebrate God's promises that the Messiah would come. Now that Christmas Day has indeed come, we'll celebrate the angels' announcement from that first Christmas morning outside Bethlehem, so long ago. Pastor Tyler preaches from Luke 2:1-20.
