The Protestant Reformation took off 507 years ago this week, on 31 October 1517. Over next generation, as believers began to cast off dead "tradition" to reform their understanding of the Christian faith, they came to realize that the Roman Catholic church was seriously wrong about what Jesus' sacrifice does for His people. Did Jesus secure believers perfect peace and permanent legal pardon from their sins, or didn't He? The scriptures are clear that He did, but the Roman Catholic church says different---even to this very day. Christians must know the truth about what Christ's sacrifice accomplished.
