Hey there,
Today I talk shortly about church holidays and celebrations in Norway. It is an important topic, that can come up at Norwegian language test on A2-level. I go through a simple vocabulary for the following themes: Christmas, Easter, infant baptism, funerals, confirmation, wedding, New Year and birthday celebration. Underneath you find the text for the Norwegian birthday song:
Hurray for You for Celebrating Your Birthday!
1st verse:
Hurray for you for celebrating your birthday!
Yes, we congratulate you!
We all stand around you in a ring,
And look, now we’ll march,
Bow, nod, curtsy, we turn around,

I dag snakker jeg kort om høytider og feiringer i Norge. Dette er også et viktig tema som kan komme opp på norskprøven til A2-nivå.
