David flees from Saul to the land of the Philistines and deceives the king of Gath by killing tribes of the land yet telling the king he was raiding and killing Israelites to gain his confidence. Both Psalm are of David wanting to give God all the glory for his victories but also to be vindicated and rescued. Before the Passover feast and his betrayal, Jesus washes his disciples feet demonstrating the servanthood of Jesus and calling them to do the same saying "all will know you are my disciples by your love for one another."
