Isaiah continues foretelling the downfall, devastation and abandonment of Israel along with hope in the glorious restoration to come. Judah is invaded by Assyria who tries to manipulate the people to fearfully abandon King Hezekiah. Romans 11 addresses the deep things of God and understanding salvation and His mercy, always remembering to remain humble as grafted in branches.
