Job: Job tells of the difficulties acquiring earthly treasures and yet the search for wisdom is much harder and of more value than anything else. In his wisdom Job teaches his friends about the holiness of God and their arrogant speech toward himself, as he has honored God all his life.
Matthew: Jesus begins His teaching in parables and His disciples question why in parables rather than straight forward. Jesus explained that many are dull in seeing and hearing and won't understand until their hearts are completely surrendered to God, seeking only to know Him more deeply.
