Joshua: Stones are taken from out of the dry ground of the Jordan where all Israel crossed as a memorial. God has all the sons of Israel circumcised once again. Joshua leads in the destruction of Jericho, where the walls fall flat and the city is sacked.
Luke: Peter acknowledges Jesus as The Christ of God. Peter, James and John witness the transfiguration of Jesus speaking with Elijah and Moses and hear God pronounce This Is My Son, My Chosen One, Listen to Him.
