God is a loving God, even in distress we are to trust Him to see us through. David, striving to be a Godly King runs into trouble transporting the Ark of the Covenant. He also inquires of God if he is to go to battle with the Philistines as his first test of being king when they raid a territory of Israel, and God gives instruction.
