February is African American (Black ) History Month, ( as well as every day of the year) but the continuation of telling our stories is important including the fabric that represents the culture into which it comes. Allowing for appreciation celebration but not appropriation from others.
Costume Designer, Lynn Ollie has always been fascinated by the ways in which clothing communicates to others who we are.
Lynn has contributed to television shows such as Mad Men, Glee. Movies include Space Jam 2, Black Panther. Her recent work includes the Fox/FX anthology, American Horror Stories.
While walking our German Shepard pups, we became fast friends, sisters. So much so she was even one of my Maids of Honor at my wedding.
As a costume designer, she wants to leave behind a legacy of work in her own costume fashion museum would be a work to be proud of.
