This is a Shout out to cross fit mentality. Or at least cross fit mentality done right, and taking it into your own hands. How do you gauge if you're getting better? With a standard of measure. That's why I'm advocating for finding your favorite challenging workout to have as a comaparision. Or as in the physical therapy world be would call a comparable/asterisk sign. By the way, this sign doesn't have to illicit nociception, it can be a performance indicator as well. The crossfit community has done a great job of having many challenging standard workouts to gauge improvement and change. Don't be afraid to create your own that jives with your tenacity.
