Description

So often we choose to label ourselves by a series of images. Overtime these become our identity. We believe in these identities. So much that when we are deprived of the opportunity to take action as we did (an athlete getting injured) we feel as though we lose part of ourselves (from I'm no longer an athlete to as extreme as a part of me has died). These strong beliefs can also keep us trapped from taking action that would be good for us. The messages 'I'm fat', 'i'm lazy', 'out of shape', 'office worker', keep us trapped in this narrative that doesn't allow us to step out of that. From where we are to sliding along the transformative spectrum.
