Description

Existential kink (EK) was created by Dr. Carolyn Elliot. It refers to the idea of finding pleasure in pain and suffering, and using those experiences as fuel for growth and transformation.

Yes in a masochistic way. Moving on.

The basic premise is as follows: we all have unconscious patterns and beliefs that keep us stuck in cycles of pain and suffering. These patterns are often deeply rooted in childhood experiences, and they shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in ways that limit our potential and keep us from *actually* thriving.

But here's the thingy: we can use those patterns to our advantage, if we're willing to look at them through different lenses. Instead of seeing them as something to be avoided or to overcome, we can embrace them as a source of pleasure and (pussy)power (ahem *sneezes*).

By exploring our pain and suffering through the lens of EK, we can learn to appreciate the ways in which pain and suffering have shaped us, and use them as a catalyst for seriously SEXULICIOUSLY rapido transformation.

When we can learn to love the parts of ourselves that we've been taught to reject…oooooooo boi. Watch out world. It makes us…dare I say…a force of nature.

Of course, learning to accept and love the parts of ourselves we previously rejected is a…task. A challenge. The Work. A Game.

It requires a willingness to confront our deepest fears and vulnerabilities, and to be honest with ourselves about the ways in which we've been holding ourselves hostage.

It requires us to be courageous, to take risks, and to trust in our own capacity for deeeeeeeeeep love.

The rewards are immense.
