Dr. Kavanagh is also considered by many to be one of the UKs top 100 influencers. At the time of this episodes recording Dr. Kavanagh was still with child, and we spent time talking about how she will raise her child to respect and understand blindness. Furthermore, Dr. Kavanagh and I talk at length about why it is so important to speak up about discrimination. Not to mention, where she gets her strength to record times she is being discriminated against due to her disability.
