Additionally, Chad talks with Melody about what they are going to be doing at Disability Expo. Who is Melody Powell? Melody Powell AKA The Caring Llama is a cisgender disabled woman who identifies as pansexual or queer and uses She/They pronouns. Melody uses a electric wheelchair due to Charcot Marie Tooth Disease and a secondary unknown neuropathy disorder that causes her to have weak muscles. Melody is passionate about advocating for diversity and inclusion having grown up feeling uncomfortable in their own skin. In addition to, feeling as though she was not worthy of romantic lov, intimacy, and respect. Through streaming over on Twitch, Melody has fostered a loving community of inclusive people who join her on her mission to improve accessibilty in gaming, and diversify representation in media.
