Tse Chi Lop, the kingpin behind Asia-Pacific based international crime super syndicate, Sam Gor, also referred to as "The Company", has been charged by the AFP after being extradited from the Netherlands on Thursday 22nd December 2022.
Tse was one of the most wanted men and has been on the radar of many enforcement agencies around the world.
He is also known as the Asia’s El Chapo, as the vastness of his operations put him on par with drug lords like El chapo and Pablo Escobar.
Chinese born Canadian national Tse, 59, has been charged by the AFP after being extradited from the Netherlands.
The Sam Gor syndicate generates billions of dollars each year from the trade in methamphetamine and other synthetic drugs.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime estimated that C's crime syndicate Sam Gor, generated between around $17.7 billion in revenue from meth in 2018 and had "expanded at least fourfold in the past five years".
