1999 to 2005 was an exciting time for Star Wars storytelling. George Lucas was in the throes of giving us a whole new trilogy, fleshing out characters and plotlines, showing us new and familiar locations, and fundamentally shifting our sense of what this “Star Wars” thing was in the first place. This week we look at how the Prequel films affected the Expanded Universe stories written at the time.
