NSIAAA Executive Director / RETIRED Activities Director & Assistant Principal at Fremont High School.
Recently retired from education employment of 39 years after following in the footsteps of my father. I served twelve years as Activities Director and Assistant Principal at Fremont High School enjoying my time working with the staff and students in our Class A district. Previous to that, I was an instructor, coach, and Athletic Director at Louisville Public Schools for twenty-four years, and spent the three years prior to that at Central Heights Public Schools in Richmond, KS as a teacher / coach after graduation from Peru State College.
I am involved in the Nebraska State Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, serving previously as a district representative as well as serving in a leadership role on the executive board. I also previously served as mentoring coordinator, and will help whenever asked. I will be taking over as the Executive Director of the NIAAA in June for Mr. Mike Purdy, who has served in this role for the past 16 years. I continue to serve on the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Publications Committee, and am currently Chairman for this committee. I also am a member of the Nebraska Retired Administrators Association, and Fremont Rotary Club.
