Tanisha M. Williams, PhD, Burpee Postdoctoral Fellow in Botany, Biology Department, Bucknell University,with a revisit to the #BlackBotanistsWeek, the reaction locally and globally, local student reaction, and future activities in this nascent movement. We’ll also discuss the nation’s Black Lives Matters reawakening, the protests in the US and locally, and the impact of the pandemic on racial minorities. She’ll explain that, to avoid harassment, she sometimes has to carry scientific books, unnecessarily, so she’ll look like a scientist.
