Description

Thomas M. Butzler, Horticulture Educator, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Clinton County, on the education and information on home and garden preparation for winter. We’ll talk about the fall clean-up, no more pruning and some planting we can do. Then preparing for winter—including leaves—and what to do with them. We can use leaves for garden insulation, keep them out of the gutters (think…water in the basement), and how to manage them. Also…bonus topic: Lots of large hornets are spotted in the garden these days too—but it’s a lookalike, and isn’t too much of a hazard.
