Emma Fleck, PhD, Associate Professor Management, Chair of the Management and Marketing Department, Sigmund Weis School of Business, Susquehanna University, on some new research about how small businesses in rural communities adapted during COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Fleck is an expert in entrepreneurship, she’ll describe how some rural businesses ‘thought big’ and learned how to pivoted fast last year. We’ll find out who was nimble, and who who not.
