The year was 2004 & it was a monumental year of change for me.
I broke up with my boyfriend, quit my job, and moved to Italy. And life, was simultaneously beautiful, amazing, as well as painful and horrific.
It pops up in my head frequently as hundreds rolodexes of memories just spin in my head, year by year, job by job, relationship by relationship, person by person, emotion by emotion, and each quantum leap by leap.
It was a year when Desiderata, Both Sides Now, and The Journey of Life (from Episodes 1-3) all merged into one; 2004 is the time-machine launching pad to memories & moments from since I was born and up to this very moment.
2004 is so fresh in my memory. I'm grateful it is a chapter in this life. In my life.
