Winnie Chan Wang is a Christian Shaman, healer, and author of the book "Honoring Darkness: Embrace Shadow Work to Nourish and Grow Your Power." She is also the founder of the nonprofit organization called CTC, Compassionate Transformation Community, which aims to bring mental wellness to everyone by introducing traditional and alternative modalities. Winnie is passionate about helping others heal their internal wounds and find their spiritual nature.
In this last episode of The Ezer Mindset Podcast, Winnie shares her personal journey of awakening and the importance of shadow work in finding alignment with one's purpose. She explains how her near-death car accident and subsequent divorce led her to explore meditation, Reiki, and shadow work. Winnie emphasizes that anxiety and depression can be signs of not being in alignment with one's true purpose. She demystifies shadow work, comparing it to planning a wedding and brushing teeth, and highlights the importance of structure and consistency in the process.
Winnie also addresses the misconception that shadow work conflicts with Christian beliefs, sharing her own encounter with Jesus during her shadow work journey.
