On this Mother's Day, which is celebrated in my homeland, Nicaragua, I share with you a story full of love and deep meaning. It is the story of my beloved mother, my inspiration, and I wish to continue honoring her by sharing her extraordinary life with you.
🎙️In the new episode of my podcast “Transforming Grief” we explore some reflections I learned from my mother who was an exceptional woman who faced immense challenges with unwavering positivity.
Despite losing her husband and her mother within a month, she showed admirable resilience. She took over my father's business, embodying the mantra "I carry on your daddy's legacy," and she inspired us with her determination and strength. Her story is a testament to navigating life's adversities with grace and steadfastness.
Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity continues to inspire me. Even when our home and memories were destroyed in the Managua earthquake, she remained a beacon of hope and joy. Her phrase "Hearts Up!” became her life motto, guiding us through difficult times. She lived to be 100 years old, leaving a legacy of joy, faith and love that I carry with pride.
