Supporting someone in pain—or facing our own grief—can leave us with a deep sense of powerlessness. We wish we could ease the suffering, change the story... but we can’t. And it's okay to name that truth.
Powerlessness is not weakness, it’s part of being human. What we can do is be present, listen without fixing, and meet ourselves with compassion.
Have you ever felt that no matter what you do, you can’t take away the pain of someone you love?
If you're facing the grief of losing a loved one, I invite you to explore my book Allow me to Live my Grief… and Heal From the Inside Out, available in print on Amazon or at www.ligiahouben.com
