He came into the world by the name of Jermaine Coleman from Brooklyn, New York. In an interview with Chris Gotti and Don Dinero hosts of GTTB Podcast. Maino talks to Chris Gotti about his journey to becoming who we now know as "Maino" or "The Lobby Boy Maino". The discovery of becoming who we now know his as "Maino". He is known for his hit single "Hi Hater!", "All The Above" , The Lobby Boyz Album with Jim Jones.

Fortune out of an unfortunate situation. Many times in our community we hear the same story about our family members who were incarcerated who have an issue to get back into life socially and financially. While in prison Maino decided he wanted to do something different, that different was to be a rapper. He honed in on his craft while he was incarcerated he would have Battle Rap in the yard.
Learning what his style, technique, critiquing himself along with his cellmates. Gave him something to focus on while he was in a place was not easy for growth to happen. Maino did not take that as an option. He put in the work to become who we now know as "The Lobby Boy Maino".
Being able to focus on becoming a rapper gave Maino something to help the time go by while incarcerated. He kept it a secret until it was time to go home. Once he was released he got home and now the question is "What are you going to do now? What is your Plan?
Maino's answer was "I wanna rap". Before he knew it he was being introduced to Chris Gotti and the Crackhouse Studios. Stay Tuned in there is so much more to find out. Get Ready for Part 2.
