Whatever you do, if it provides your fellow man value, they will provide you with wealth. But you may ask, how do I know what it is that I should provide my fellow man?
This is another way of asking, what should I do with my life?
What we are about to say next may sound contrary to what most of us have heard and beleived but which unfortunately has turned out NOT TO BE TRUE is this very famous statement:
--“FOLLOW YOUR PASSION”, “PURSUE WHAT YOU LOVE DOING”! First & Foremost this is a very bad idea and MUST NOT BE MISTAKEN with YOUR ROD!
--Moses DID NOT LOVE the idea of or was even PASSIONATE about what God was asking him to do! On the contrary he argued against it!
--So why is it a BAD IDEA? Simply because majority of the time what we LOVE TO DO is VERY RARELY what we are GOOD AT.
--Sometimes it takes a Prophetic Word to point us in the right direction because God does not talk to us about WHAT OUR PASSION IS (Usually misguided by external influences) but what we WERE CREATED FOR which unfortunately most of the time Culture, Tradition and Religion have spent years attempting to erase.
--In fact I would like to challenge anyone who is good at something or at least people may have realized you are good at it, do we REALLY LOVE WORKING AT IT? In most cases NO! We would rather do something else more “EXCITING” than what we are really good at because we rarely see it is either glamorous or profitable.
--Why “following your passion” may be misleading is because it focuses on you with a focus on self which immediately eliminates the key to wealth: Service to others.
