Description

The real purpose of the crucifixion as we have now articulated was to provide us we with 2 primary realities:
--1. REDEMPTION
--2. SALVATION
-In our last conversation we outlined the meaning of these 2 terms but just in case you missed it let me repeat them.
--Redemption:
This is the Sovereign ACT of God where Jesus Voluntarily died on the cross and paid the FULL PRICE for reconciling us to God and giving us access to the Kingdom as Citizens who are Sons with the rights of inheritance.
--Salvation:
This is the continuous process by which we discover our citizenship rights and inheritance and it’s also the process of maturing to full function as kingdom citizens & Sons of God.
For more of this pleas watch the last conversation.
--What does this mean to us TODAY?
--1. FIRST and FOREMOST:
Jesus has done EVERYTHING He will ever do to give us FULL ACCESS to the Kingdom and He will NEVER EVER DO anything else!
On the Cross he clearly declared: IT IS FINISHED.
On the night before he was Crucified He said:
John. 17:4
4 "I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
John. 19:30
30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
So at the Crucifixion, His WORK of restoring us was accomplished!
--2. SECONDLY:
We are the ones who have NOT YET accessed WHAT HAS ALREADY been given to us and and are still living AS IF HE DID NOT COME, DIE & RESURRECT.
Why is this so?
And this will be our theme scripture:
Rom. 12:2
-- 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
KEY WORDS:
YOU ARE CONFORMED to this WORLD because YOUR MIND has NOT BEEN RENEWED.
IF YOUR MIND IS RENEWED YOUR LIFE WILL BE TRANSFORMED
So the greatest problem we have is YOUR MIND!
