Problems come when we do not Know what our Rod is therefore we end up thinking what God says is impossible or at other times we attempt to function from another person’s “ROD” ending up in failure.
This is why every time God is looking for a man and finds one he typically goes through 3 stages with him: -
1.He CALLS HIM BY NAME OR “CHANGES” HIS NAME.
The “Call (Kaleo)” is more than Just a statement it is an Identification or re-identification of who you were created to be.
God does not call us at random because there is a situation, he only calls those suited for an assignment.
(This also involves dissolving your erroneous past where it is not necessary for your future)
-The Calling is not intended to elevate or bring the called to place of super importance.
▸ A person’s abilities, background, personality, zeal, hunger, diplomas, desires and association do not sway the hand of God to call them. This is the sovereign act of God. He calls whom he wants.
▸ No presbytery, no prophetic word or no level of human desire can produce the Call of God. They cannot produce what God did not give. (You cannot desire a call, you can only RESPOND to a Call)
▸ What they can do is to activate, nurture, stir-up, mature and release the call - they can enforce an already determined intent of God but cannot produce it.
When we have been given the WRONG identity God corrects it by calling us by our Original name which seems to us like a NAME CHANGE!
-2.HE THEN GIVES HIM THE ASSIGNMENT.
Usually this sounds massive to the recipient and requires their understanding WHO is assigning them in fact God will usually give them a sign to help their faith while introducing Himself to them.
▸ The call does not originate in the earth realm by human petition, human desire or human learning - It is a sovereign undertaking.
▸ It is an invitation to represent God in the acceleration of His eternal objectives
▸ It is a divine summons to partnership with God in the actualizing of eternal realities in the earth
