The background of this instruction that God gives Joshua, is at a time when Moses has died and it is time to go in and possess the land.
God once again reiterates that He has already given them the land and even once again mentions the territory it covers specifically.
He then makes some key promises:
--1. He will be with Him as He was with Moses
--2. Every place he sets his foot will be given to him
--3. No one will be able to stand before or resist his advance ALL THE DAYS OF HIS LIFE.
--4. He would NEVER leave him nor forsake him.
--5. He would be the one to divide the land God promised as an inheritance, in other words he would EXPERIENCE and OVERSEE the manifestation of the Promise!
Those are absolutely powerful Promises!
BUT….They were conditional.
What were these conditions?
