We have discussed how there are TWO outcomes that come from
either:
-Hearing the Word and building your life on what you have heard.
-Hearing the Word and building from the input of the World
around you.
When scripture describes Abraham who is prime pattern for hearing God and thriving in the
outcome of abiding in the Word, this is how he is described in scripture:
Rom. 4:3
3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was
accounted to him for righteousness."
The interesting thing here is that the word “Righteousness” in use here is not the word associated with sin and forgiveness as mostly understood but in fact the term here has much more practical applications:
