Description

In today's episode, we will cover our weekly journaling prompts.

I also want to talk about why I chose the movements I did.

I do a lot of computer work and I also have degenerative discs in my neck. My neck and jaw area are where I carry the most stress and tightness.

I felt there are many people, looking down at computer screens, and cellphones, working at desks, and the shoulder and neck areas are just a place that tends to get stiff during the day. (I have added a poll for this in case people want them left in)

I felt shoulder and head rolls would help loosen up these areas and help us relax them and just notice these areas and what is going on with them. The hand movements are also a nice way to bring a little circulation to our hands and arms.

Ear massages not only feel really good but there are also a lot of acupressure points in the ears that cover various parts of the body and our moods.

For this week's journal prompts

As always, grab your journal, your favorite pen, and your favorite beverage.

This week's prompts are

What basic needs are met in my life and what makes me grateful for each one?

What does it mean to me to be grounded? How can I bring the feeling of being grounded in my life?

Remember there are no right or wrong answers, your journal is just for you, you can work on the prompts all week, on Sunday after meditation or Monday before the new week meditation or not at all if this is something you aren't comfortable with.
