In this special North Texas Giving Day episode of The Mahogany Seat, founders Jarie Bradley and Kristina C. Dove spend time with Dallas TRHT's Black Women in Nonprofit Leadership (BWNPL) cohort to share the vision and mission of the podcast.
With the support of Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation, Bradley and Dove share how their common workplace traumas connected, and then propelled them to create a safe space for Black women to share, heal and grow beyond their experiences.
The insightful conversation continues as Errika Flood-Moultrie pulls up her chair at The Mahogany Seat to talk about the importance of supporting these initiatives, followed by resident therapist Dr. Summer Rose (@srosechaney) who always provides therapeutic context to support the experiences that Black women are often faced with in the workplace and how those traumatic experiences can activate our next steps to help keep us safe and healing.
