The Mahogany Seat is an experiential podcast centering Black women's workforce racial trauma and healing. Inspired by their own journeys and joint op-ed published in Barron's, The Mahogany Seat was founded by Jarie Bradley and Kristina Dove.
Our monthly podcast will feature stories from Black women who've been impacted by racial trauma in the workforce. We will include insight from a Black therapist and will provide therapy sessions to our guests to support their continued healing.
• In this premiere episode* moderated by Jarie Bradley, co-founder Kristina Dove chats with Byron Sanders, President and CEO of Big Thought. Listen in to discuss Kristina's experience while working with Byron at Big Thought and their full-circle path to healing and restoration with insight from clinical psychologist Dr. Summer Rose on recognizing trauma, how to move forward and begin to navigate your own journey.
