Richard Hine is a content strategist, marketer, and writer whose past career roles include copywriter at Ogilvy and Mather Direct, international marketing director for Time Magazine, publisher of Time’s Latin America edition, and vice president of marketing and business development at The Wall Street Journal.



Hine’s 30+ year career as a writer and marketer spans everything from advertising to articles, corporate memoirs to web series, crowdfunding to New Yorker cartoon captions.

Hine currently is an avid tweeter, grudging Facebooker, occasional Instagrammer, and the founder of TLD Media aka The Levity Department which specializes in producing creative campaigns and managing social media accounts for corporate clients, celebrities, thought leaders, non-profits, startups, and more. He also writes the Unprecedented newsletter on Substack.
