Pastor Henry titles this message Continuous Assessment borrowing the term from the department of Education to link this to our spiritual walk. He reads from 2 Corinthians 13 where Paul went to the Corinthian church to do a continuous assessment on their faith so that they are not left behind in the curriculum of God. We need to do a continuous assessment in our lives to determine where we stand in our relationship with Christ, to determine if we are still on the right path to eternal life. In 2 Corinthians 13:5 Paul says "Examine yourselves to see if you are still in faith" meaning it is important that we continually assess ourselves to see if Christ is still in our hearts.
