Doberge Cake pronounced "DOUGH-BAHHHHSH" is my favorite confection in the whole world. Hailing from South Louisiana, there is really nothing quite like it. It's more than just a "cheat day food", it's my sweet soul mate. I'm telling tales here of many of my run-ins with a cake that must stay cold in one of the hottest states in the nation. This episode is in honor of my late Poppee Earl Olivier's birthday (April 2nd) who also loved Doberge cake.
