In this episode Simon talks to contemporary craft maker and award-winning paper pioneer, Jennifer Collier. Jennifer creates exquisite sculptures from vintage recycled materials in conjunction with stitching; providing a contemporary twist on traditional textiles.
Jen is a BTEC alumna, having graduated from a BTEC in Art & Design at Stafford College before completing a Degree in Textiles at Manchester University. We’ll be talking about how she got started, her creative processes, as well as maintaining individual artistic integrity, while also managing a successful gallery and studios, and running craft workshops.
