Description

When was the last time you had a good conversation? When was the last time you left talking with someone, feeling refreshed, invigorated, heard, lighter, or at peace? So many of us spend so much time "Communicating" to other people, yet more people than ever feel alone, sad, left out, depressed, disconnected, out of touch, unheard, angry, forgotten, unimportant, and much more. How is this even possible? How can we be more connected than ever yet less connected than at any other point in history? While we communicate much more with people than ever, we do not communicate in the same way. In this week's episode, learn about how much communication is being left on the table not even accessed, how starting as young as 4 months of age, we start to develop this skill that, due to the pandemic, has been depressed in young children with unknown future consequences, and why face to face conversation conveys so much more meaning than any other form.
