Once there was a caterpillar. he spent his days traversing the garden, eating until he was full and he couldn't move. He has one goal in life. To get big enough to become a butterfly. He and his friends always talk about it, yet none of them know exactly how it happens. Some say you go to sleep and wake up one. Others claim you have to go on a long journey and find a butterfly to transform into one. Yet at the end of the day, all they know is that they need to eat, a TON. The caterpillar had been eating as much as he could stomach, but he wasn't getting as big as he wanted. Part of him started to wonder if he would ever get big enough to become a butterfly. He had been eating for so long, and the garden leaves were losing their flavor. They weren't as good as they used to be. Eating felt like a chore. He knew he had to do it, but did he really have to eat so much? This continued on for a while. One day he got this strange urge to venture out of the garden. He didn't know why he felt this urge or if he could trust it. Yet, something in him was pulling him towards it. He crawled long past being able to see the garden anymore. He was lost but kept following this urge. Eventually, he found himself out on the branch of a tree. He was so tired he decided to take a rest. Just a second he thought. he climbed to the bottom of the branch to be safe from predators. A caterpillar has got to be careful. He fell asleep and dreamed he was flying over the garden, over flowers with pools of nectar in them. He saw the plants he used to climb up and eat. He thought to himself "This is the life!"
