The historic lows of mortgage rates are ending! We've been super lucky for a while but rates are going back up! If you were planning to wait to buy this year, you could end up paying hundreds more per month due to interest rate changes alone!
As stated by Nadia Evangelou, "Mortgage rates surged in the second week of the new year. The 30-year fixed mortgage rate rose to 3.45% from 3.22% the previous week. If inflation continues to grow at the current pace, rates will move up even faster in the following months."
