AnneMoss Rogers is a mental health and suicide education expert, professional speaker, trainer, and consultant. She is a TEDx storyteller, and author of the award-winning memoir, Diary of a Broken Mind. In 2015, her 20-year-old son Charles died by suicide. She published her second book with co-writer Dr. Kimberly O'Brien called Emotionally Naked: A Teacher’s Guide to Preventing Suicide and Recognizing Students at Risk on August 24, 2021.
She was the first non-clinician invited to speak on youth suicide at the National Institute of Mental Health. A UNC-Chapel Hill alumna, Anne Moss currently lives in Richmond, VA. Her surviving son, Richard, is a filmmaker in LA. She offers courses online for parents grieving the loss of a child as well as courses on mental health and suicide prevention.
