As one Canadian media mogul attempted to wring every cent out of the rights to L.M. Montgomery's beloved children's novel, it was inevitable a slapdash and forgettable cartoon would be produced. While we discuss the book, the poorly adapted cartoon, and the unexpected global phenomenon of this red-headed orphan girl from Prince Edward Island, we also get into the mess that is copyright laws and Sylvie explains why Anne with an E is the only adaptation we need.
