So many times we hear preachers say, "What I believe this means is..." or "What this means to me is..." and that is very dangerous to your average church goer because it makes people think that God and the Bible are subjective. This means to them, that they can believe it or not, and that everyone has a right to interpret the Bible however they choose to believe.
This could not be further from the truth.
How you choose to apply something to your life does not change what God's Word says.
What a verse means does not change from person to person.
